While we are just getting started with Spring. Microsoft is going to be rolling out the Spring Creators Update for millions of Windows 10 devices around the globe. With this update, we will be seeing more features for us to use – or play around with, if your like me!

Why not get a head start and find out what features are coming.

For the last two weeks I have been testing the new features on my device which will come out in the Spring update. I will list them below and talk about them.

Task View

Timeline.png

Task View has had a makeover. Now your able to see what tasks you have been doing within the last 30 days. This will allow you to pick up right where you left off. You can find Task View right next to Cortana before the pinned apps/programs.

The task view will also allow you to view content that you have opened on your phone, using the Microsoft Launcher App available on Android. This enables users who are working on documents on their phone, pick up where they left off when they are at their PC.

The draw back with Task View is that when you open Office documents (At the time of writing), they open the documents though the web browser (Using the Office Web Apps) rather then using the Office program you have installed on your computer.

Focus Assist – Formally known as Quite Hours

Focused Assist

Microsoft have changed the name of Quite Hours to Focus Assist. It still does the same as Quite Hours but it just has a different name to it.
